My name is John and I like to journey with others. I consider myself, like so many others, a "Wounded Healer" of sorts. I've experienced loss, the spiritual trauma that often comes with fundamental experiences, along with different mental health struggles that others have helped guide me through. Even today, I'd consider myself far from perfect, still letting myself down daily, but being more than ever able to recognize that the saying "This Too Shall Pass" is always true!

What I've learned is this: Joy can be found in suffering. Suffering is much easier when embraced as a necessary part of experiencing joy, bliss, Heaven, or Nirvana - whatever term you prefer to use. For me, it's the idea of carrying my cross and experiencing The Christ through it's Jesus incarnation.

My fundamentalist background would tell you that some people get it and some people don't - some go to Hell and others to Heaven. What I'd like to tell you is the true good news that all wisdom traditions (or one of my favorite terms: Perennial Philosophies) seem to point, which is this: You are loved, always, and grace surrounds you and flows through you - always! Unfortunately, this necessity of this physical life, at least for now, and all the ego layers we put on, often suffocate and blind us to who we are, and who we've always been, and who we will always be.

So if I could define my work with others it would be this: I like to help people slowly remove their ego layers so that they will see who they've been all along. Carl Jung would put it this way: I want to show you your true Self (with a capital S)! Most wisdom traditions would call it Spirit, which is separate from matter and energy.

I look forward to seeing you soon, either in my office, or at a workshop or speaking engagement, or online!

I'm excited to share the Good News, the Gospel one might say, with everyone: You are loved and you are whole and grace envelops you always! Nothing you can do, can separate you from love, but a lot of what we do as humans, keep us from seeing the love and grace that already surrounds us.

Grace and Peace to you...

Namaste...
